Fight Fish, Not People! Solitude on the San Juan you bet! Soaring Eagle Lodge is located in the middle of a private ranch and has special access waterfront privileges to almost 2 miles of the San Juan River and it's braids. The exclusive river access offers privacy that the public areas do not provide. You will read about how great the lower river is on almost every other "Outfitters" web page that guides on the Juan . but there is a disclaimer, NO wading, NO anchoring if you hit a good spot, basically NO stopping at all! This is not true with Soaring Eagle Lodge. Once you hit the ranch it is yours to enjoy, you and a maximum of 7 other guests will have it all. The only NO we have is NO angry landowners chasing you off their stretch of the river. The fish in this area are primitive and wild. They are not stocked and most are naturally spawned. Large brown trout are not uncommon with streamer fishing on the ranch. Most importantly, you avoid the crowds. It is exclusive and advance reservations are required. First Class Lodging & Meals: Our accommodations are "Angler Friendly". Set up with the fly fisherman in mind. Each guesthouse (more commonly referred to as cabins) is equipped with rod racks and wader racks both indoors and outdoors for your convenience. The guest houses have satellite TV, telephones, full size refrigerators, either a stove or a microwave, utensils, linens, dishes, lounge chairs, redwood patio furniture. Our guesthouses are set up for condo type living. Your accommodations are upscale, casual.

Most of our guests reserve the fine dining and breakfast service. We have a restaurant on the premises for our guest only. Soaring Eagle Lodge is located in a remote area and advanced meal planning is required to prepare for your meals.

A conference room is also available for business services, fly fishing groups, or large group requests.
